Oooookay... really, *really* random request, and I'm hoping someone on here will be able to tell me something useful.
Sarah and I have been talking a lot lately on where we want to move once she's done with school next year, and the one totally unknown (to us) place that keeps popping up is Austin, Texas. All I really know about the city is that it's got a totally killer social scene, especially for music, and that the University of Texas is there.
I guess what I'm asking is... What else should I know about this place before I seriously consider moving there? I've been Googling and Wikipediaing my rear end off, and though that's been somewhat helpful, it's not as good as hearing from people who actually know about the city.
I'm probably grasping at straws, but I figured it could work.
