Anyone else thinking the proposed service cuts and fare increases for Port Authority might be a massive problem for the city of Pittsburgh?
Here's
KDKA's report on what's supposed to be taking place and here's
Port Authority's proposal. This has me thinking I might submit a request to speak at one of the public hearings taking place this month.
I can't afford to drive right now with the cost of gas and my enormous lack of hours at the Slut Hut. On top of that, I would never in a million years pay fourteen dollars a day to park downtown for class, whether I had the money or not. They're eliminating all kinds of routes that drastically effect my area. Plus, do they really expect me to pay ninety dollars a month for a bus pass that assures me even spottier service than they already have?
Oh Port Authority and the city of Pittsburgh, how you've screwed your residents yet again.
