my eyes look to the sky
sometimes it seems never ending, this world. as i try to find my way around it, i discover more paths, more tunnels. then i realize i'm lost. i'll find my way again and travel some more and become lost again. is there a true straight path that doesn't veer, curve, or drop off? a path we can travel that never fails us? this world seems so hopeless, so filled with void, so filled with a longing and desire to leave. why can't people see that there is a path, a path in which God takes us by the hand. yea, it may not always be a smooth path, but He's there and He NEVER leaves. why can't we trust in that, why can't we realize that HE IS WHY WE ARE LIVING. HE IS WHY WE PUSH THROUGH EVERY DAY.
God, help us as we long to be with you, as we long to leave this dark world to be with you. help us to realize that there's work to be done here for you before we can leave. help us to know and ACCEPT that WE ARE LOVED.
