I did some research today on mangrove and reef ecology, and confirmed that yes, mangroves can form atop coral atolls. Started working out the succesion mechanisms for that for the Iredjolsith, the Mangrove Archipelago of Sedes Draconis. I saw Dr. Ladefoged. Sometimes called the most important phonetician in the world. He presented phonetic arguments against UG, and argued for langauge being a self-organizing social system. Which works for me.
