Sarah's post has reminded me to remind you all of my upcoming (and final) concerts of the year. Chamber Singers is performing Menotti's "The Unicorn, the Gorgon, and the Manticore" in conjunction with the dance department on the 14th and the 15th in Mabel Lee, 7:30 both nights. It will be amazing, and I might add most of us agree its the most difficult music we've ever seen. That's a Friday and a Saturday by the way.
Then there's Beethoven's Mass in C and Puccini's Messa di Gloria sung by the University Singers, which is on Thursday, the 19th. Also going to be amazing. So come to them if you have time. Even if you go to Concordia and your name rhymes with Wjersten.
It seems I'm being offered jobs left and right nowadays. I've applied for a position as webmaster for the college of fine and performing arts and that will be a ten hour a week position during the year. I've also got the full amount for UCare next year and that will be another ten hours or so a week. I emailed the head of Tada to look into some shows for the summer, and he asked me if I was interested in doing stage manager work for the next show. Cool, but I don't think I'll be able to do it due to time constraints.
I had a concert tonight, as well. It went great. What more can I say?
Nothing, I guess. I love you all, God bless (especially those of you who are really feeling the strain of late semester work).
