There is a poet I've been reading for class. His name is Arthur Sze, and I absolutely love his work. It's at first glance a collection of random thoughts and images, but there are numerous recurring words and throughlines that really capture the metaphor of Quipu, the name of his book, and an Incan knot language. Anyway, I though I'd share a poem of his, although I have no idea if anyone is interested.

Opening the screen door, you find a fat spider
poised at the threshold. When I swat it,
hundreds of tiny crawling spiders burst out.
What space in the mind bursts into waves
of wriggling light? As we round a bend,
a gibbous moon burnishes lava rocks and waves.
That's an excerpt anyway. Really excellent stuff. My day you ask? Busy as always. Until this point I haven't had time to do anything but practice, rehearse, eat, or go to class. We add the actor who is playing the lead in the show tomorrow. And as Sarah has already mentioned, there is a concert tomorrow at 7:30 at Saint Paul's. Be there. No use making up excuses, KJ, we all know you don't have anything to do.
Enough about me and my meager life. I wish you all a good restful sleep and plenty of whatever your hearts desire most. Assuming its kosher.
