I just finished reading "Case for a Creator." It explores scientific evidence about the existence of God, and I highly recommend it, even if it does have certain contradictions with what we've been taught in school. Now I'm a little curious about the debate between a young earth and an ancient earth, because it seemed that every scientist

if venting on livejournal was burdensome, i wouldn't have any friends. besides, it's a nice way to get encouragement without fishing for it. :-)

not feeling fulfilled? join the club. i'm not enjoying going from teacher's-pet-leader-in-high-school to fucking-up-my-jury-bottom-of-the-barrel-with-a-broken-violin-wondering-if-i-should-switch-to-an-english/theater-major-ness. woah. wait. i screwed that grammar up so bad, i think it's a sign from God not to go with the english major. but anyways, you get the point. don't worry. we have all of college to figure things out.

and you know what micah... when we call you a sexy stud, we mean it.(especially with that new haircut. *ow! ow!* and don't let your past drag you down. we've all done things we're not proud of. we don't think any less of you even though you keep feeling guilty about whatever, so anyone you would date wouldn't either. let it go! (and i think being away from krista and john over break will do you some good.)

Anne, I know that violin is important, but there is so much more to being a music teacher, and I know you have a lot of musical talent in different ways than necessarily being some sort of violin viruoso.

I suppose the point I was making was that you needn't be discouraged from being a music educator, IF thats what you really want to do.

yeah. it is. which is why violin's a bit frustrating- i don't want to be a violin virtuoso. i want to be a music teacher. oh well. it's just fine.
