SO the past few days we were in Poznan poland visiting marks mom's side of the family. it was fantastical- besides the fact that there was 0 english in that family and at least here marks cousin is fluent. But they had a puppy! and shes so cute. haha
i also saw the most fantastic thing ive seen in europe thus far
the museum of musical instruments
it was amazingggggggggggggg. the most gorgeous cellos, violins, violas, harps, pianos, trumpets- everything from every section of every orchestra around the world. instruments from india, australia, germany, and even new york citay. some of them were 10s of thousands of years old. i fucking loved it. they had violins that belonged to the royal family in london at one point and they wree so freaking gorgeous i just wanted to rob the entire place. i didnt.. but i did take wayyyy too many pictures- and pictures werent allowed. MWAHHAZHAHHAHDLSDFLSFKL~!~
there was a real cucu?koko?coco? clock there too. like a building and at 12 pm a huge crowd gathers in the square and watches these wooden goats come out and knock heads 12 times and some guy comes out of the tower and plays his trumpet. it was awesome. there was also this big park called malta-ski which has a hugeee tobagon slide on it- mark, me, and his 10 year old cousin went down it about...13 times each.
we leave for a 5 hour train to take to the airport to wait for 4 hours to take a 2 hour plane to rome (11 hours in transit) ah well itll be good!
we should be home either the 28th or the 29th.. because---- my dad leaves the 28th for TN! he's visiting my brothers, and my sister will be in san fran with her friend. SO! i shall have the entire place to myself for a week or more- which means huge welcome home partys every night. I also sent a menu to my dad of foods i want him to have made for me for when i come home. anyone who wants to come play is more than welcome.
hoooray!
