Big Time Berry pt 2

--

“That one is flat.” Rachel said, more to herself than to Gustavo who was mixing the boys as they sang. All sounds of productions stopped once the words were out of her mouth; the large man, his assistant and the four boys in the sound booth staring openly at Rachel.

“Dogs! Who is she and why is she here?”

“I can demonstrate for you how it sounds if you’d like, granted, I’m about an octave higher than them.”

“Fine, if you really think you can do it then do it Miss Bossy Pants.” Rachel grinned, accepting the challenge. She took a breath and held a hand up.

“Would you like me to start from the chorus or just the note that Carlos was flat on?”

“Just sing.” Rachel nodded and began the chorus of ‘Count On You’, holding the note in question once she got there.

“There you go. Now if you were to just drop it an octave you’d have the proper pitch needed..."
