Monday never fails to show up...
And so we have the first Monday in June of 2021. That still sounds a little like Star Trek to me, as though we should be adding Star Date 2021. Y'all know what I mean.
Thankfully we have the Man from UNCLE to keep us grounded in our past, when our hearts were young and I never grunted just a little when I stand up after sitting for too long. Seriously, I know there are others who are laughing at that because it's true.
The sun is shining at the moment, but we have rain predicted for the entire week. the farmers will love it, and if it means that the gorgeous sweet white corn makes it to the roadside stands a little sooner, then let it rain.

I hope this Monday is the beginning of a fantastic week for everyone. The masks are coming off and people are looking a little less terrified as they pass me in the grocery. May we all be blessed with antibodies and efficient vaccines.
