The Man from UNCLE is set in a decade where music ruled the airwaves. Revolutionary new sounds were usurping the spots held by the old standards and busting apart the formulaic pop sounds that had worn down the tread of the music industry's vinyl.
We have it on good authority that the Russian kept jazz records under his bed (according to early notes on his character), and we can imagine Napoleon schmoozing the ladies with some smokey ballads by Frank Sinatra or Nat King Cole.
But, in our fantasies, do their tastes run a little wilder than that? For a man who danced with a gorilla (unfortunate, but canon nonetheless), Napoleon Solo might do a decent boogaloo, a dance that rose to popularity in the early to late sixties. Let's explore...
