Here's a shout out to the well wishers yesterday, another birthday come and gone with plenty to be thankful for. The sun is out today, and even if there's a slight chill in the air, the day promises to have some brilliant qualities.
Here on Section VII we also have some brilliant things to offer, including today's challenge,
Short Affair. I hope you'll take a look at last weeks prompts as well as today's, and perhaps write something for us.
PicFic has a prompt up, so go and find that one for some enticing invitations to write. Also, Wednesdays are now Dribble-Drabble; you can write half drabbles with a provided word prompt to help you along the way (if you choose).
The Spring Round Robin is on the way, but in the meantime we're asking all of you for a bit of help. Suggestions for themes or scenarios, locations or simply one word prompts are welcome, and you can share your ideas here if you like, in the comments. We'll run a poll later to let everyone vote on their favorite idea.
Speaking of polls, you can check out the most recent one and vote
HERE Last month I reintroduced a challenge from a few years ago,
What's My Line? It takes a quote that serves as inspiration for a story, the actual quote is not required within the content. We haven't had any takers on that one, but I'm giving it to you again, just in case it was overlooked.
And in response to a concern that was raised recently, Section VII is for writing and reading MFU fiction. We provide challenges to help along the process, but a new fix, or a recommendation to read is always welcome. Just keep in mind that we are a GEN-centric site. If you have questions, feel free to PM me or leave a comment.
Have a Fab Day everyone.
