I think the hardest thing that's been encountered this past year, here in our writing communities, has been to keep people writing. The poor Muse has been blamed continually for the malaise, no inspiration to spark a great story is the common complaint.
Once before we had a little event that focused on the Muse, and I'm thinking we might turn there again. Rattle things up a bit, defy the idea that we're bound by something intangible but rather have the capacity to simply do what we know how to do, simply because we want to.
And, there's the key to it, I think. We must want to write.
I'm challenging you to meet that in the coming weeks, months if it takes that long.
Challenge yourself (and if by that the Muse within), to want to write again. Check out earlier posts regarding the Muse. Also, some of us ordered Section VII mugs to help us along. Once again I must give credit for the artwork for our banner to
togsos MUSE And the MUG!
You can also use this artwork and find a different source for making your mug.
FYI, zazzle.com will not reproduce this image, but other sites may.
One post mentions the inspiration taken from our Section VII Mug, something you may want to add to your arsenal. They can be ordered on Vistaprint.com, and here is a link to the product. I found a discount code by simply googling vistaprint discount, so you might try that if you're interested.
