I guess I should catch everyone up to speed on what has been happening in my life.
I moved out of the apartment in Irvine at the end of September and I moved home to Encinitas. This was a bit harder to do than I had invisioned and it was difficult not to see Joe as much but I don't have money yet so it was a no brainer.
I turned 22 in October and had an awesome Addams Family theme party. I made a skeleton dinner but pictures for all of this are on another computer. Joe and I dressed up as Morticia and Gomez naturally and I even got my mom and Kris to dress up like Uncle Fester and Debbie (originally portrayed by Joan Cusack in the second movie - needless to say my mom in a blonde wig and Kris in a bald cap was hilarious). Jenna was Cousin It, Dane was Lurch, Ally was Wednesday, Peter was Pugsly, and Aaron was Thing. It was quite the family affair.
The next major event was the fires. My family was fine throughout that terrible time but it was scarry how close it got to my house in Encinitas. I think it was on Monday night we could see the fire coming down the hill in the distance. That was all I needed to see and I decided to go visit Joe in Cerritos for the week because there weren't any fires near them.
After this I stayed home with Kris and helped him to recouperate from his hearnia (SP?) sugery; he was home for nearly a week.
I have been helping Joe film his various projects for class and it has gone rather well. I even lasoed my sister into a bit part in a silent film. In fact, I am even filming with him today.
But I guess I should get to the biggest news of this post: I finally found a job and will be moving to Los Angeles next weekend (providing all goes well - fingers crossed). I am going to be starting at Lieberman Research Worldwide on December 3rd and hopefully moving into an apartment I found on the 1st. If the apartment stuff goes through I will be living with an awesome girl named Christina who is a grad student at Peperdine. She is really welcoming and I think will be a really great roomate. As for the job I am going to be working in Century City on Avenue of the Stars for a marketing research firm. My team that I will be part of specializes in the entertainment industry which basically means my job will consist of analyzing data in order to find out things like when dvd's should be released and what cover they should have. It should be really interesting because there are always so many projects and thus always changing with new challenges to meet.
Anyway, I should get going I still need to get ready for the shoot later today.
Best Wishes to everyone this holiday!
