I'm leavin' on a jet plane...
So I fly for the first time by myself tomorrow. I am going to Omaha, NE for my cousin's wedding. I'm so excited to see my family and have a mini adventure. Tonight I got all dressed up but have nowhere to go. Anyone have any suggestions? I need to have my mini bon voyage. I feel like this is a precursor to the big one that is looming off in the distance. All of my forms have been sent out for Budapest... so now its only time till arrival. For those of you who want to mark your callendars for my historic date of departure it will be August 19. I found myself getting tears at the end of two of my classes today. Soc 3 and 63 have been really fun academic journeys and I will miss the learning process they evoked. This end of year drama is hitting me harder than i thought it would. End to classes. Moving out of the apartment. and moving on to summer and a year abroad. All things need to be considered a step at a time though. In the end my life will be as grand as the pyramids, no? I really miss singing lately, but that is a sidenote to this story. I am recovered from my food poisoning, i think. I am so thankful to be feeling better. I just wish the same for nick. I want to thank the roomies for being really supportive this year and for living with me. I love these kids. So bottom line is kick ass on finals and bon voyage!
