Oh, the things you overhear.
On the way home I eavesdropped on someone explaining why the earth was warm. Apparently, light causes the hydrogen in the atmosphere, but especially in water to burn up turning the water into steam which makes the world warm. And then, bam! Hurricanes.
Damn you, hydrogen!
