Hey, Baby, It's the Fourth of July
So one of the amusing bits of living in parts foreign is that people seem to go out of their way to wish me Happy Independence Day kind of like it was my birthday or Christmas.
The good news is that Independence Day is always during Wimbledon which means we get super awesome strawberry tarts in the café.
But really I have no idea how I am meant to respond to Happy Independence Day! salutations from the people we rebelled against. (Also see: Happy Thanksgivings salutatations.) but that is ok, because I have you guys.
