Another small one-shot I did.
If you read my fanfic, you'll know who she is.
Well, enjoy it!
She wasen't going to cry.
But she wanted to.
She bit her lip and faught back tears as she looked at her face in the mirror.
There were bags under her eyes, she looked dead tired. Her eyes were wet with tears.
Her hair was unwashed and unbrushed, her brown curles were tangled and at odd ends.
She frowned at herself in the mirror and suddenly hung her head and began to cry.
She cried sadly, her tears falling from her eyes onto the sink. Her gasps and hiccups were
small and barely audible.
She looked up at herself, and frowned again.
Tears still fell from her puffy, red viened eyes and her nose turned bright red and began to run.
Her bottom lip quivered and she hung her head again and cried some more.
She let go of the sink and let herself slide to the floor.
She hugged herself around the body and closed her eyes.
His face appeared in a haze.
His gorgeous face.
She still loved him.
But he didn't love her.
She knew that.
She has to let it go. To let it roll right off her shoulders.
But she couldn't.
He was still in her heart, her mind, and her life.
He was the son of her fathers friend.
She has tried to keep in touch with him.
But she couldn't forgive him for what he said.
For what he did.
Even though he had given her her first kiss, and vice-versa.
She opened her eyes and choked on another set of gasps and tears.
Her tears blurred out almost everything.
She was having trouble breathing now.
She missed him.
She haden't talked to him since the move.
She still loved him.
She loves him.
"I love him." she said in a tearfull gasp.
There was a knock on the bathroom door.
"Megan dear? Are you alright?" came her mothers voice.
"I'm fine." she mumbled.
"Alright."
She stared at the ceiling, still hugging herself.
She couldn't stay in this depression any longer.
She had to let it go. Let it roll right off her shoulders.
She stood again and looked at the mirror, appalled at her reflection.
She grabbed a tissue and blew her nose and wiped the tears from her eyes.
She closed her hand over the doorknob and left the bathroom, putting on the best fake smile she could muster.
She was depressed and sad and lonely, yes. But she couldn't let the others know.
Because she still loved him.
Even if he didn't love her.
