What is the World Coming to?
I'm updating after only one week. This needs to go down in the record books. An update in less than seven days. What is the world coming to?
Nothing really out of the ordinary has happened in the past week- just keep plodding along through life with a rediculous daily agenda and relying on gallons of extremely strong tea in the morning to get me through a day on an average of four hours of sleep a night.
Anyway, happy Halloween! Hobo day at school was fun, especially since I won the individual costume award for our grade. Yay for a dress-down day on Monday and an extremely stuffed bag of candy. I never really put much effort into Hobo day, so this year I decided to do something random. Alas, the Halloween party table was born. I must admit that it was a rather creative idea. I used a huge box and cut a hole in the top for my head, then covered it with a black table cloth with pumpkins and ghosts on it. From the sided I hung swirly black and orange ghost decorations and a rubber skeleton. On the table were Halloween theme plates, cups, and utensils with a snake slithering between them. The yummy food at the party consisted of worms (gummy worms), spiders, and eyeball candles. Seeing me try to get through the halls in a box was a graceful site, as were my attempts to put it on after every class and then walk to the next and take it off again. Fun times.
So tonight, McCabe, Wingle, and I went out to Friday's with Kristen for her sweet sixteen, ate way too much, and had some interesting experiences if I do say so myself.
Kristen: Our waiter better be a hot guy.
*waitress approaches behind as she is saying that*
Waitress: Hi I'm Missy. I'm not a hot guy, but I'll be your server tonight.
Haha that was so great. And so was walking in Coconuts after it was closed and getting kicked out. I guess stores don't like to do business anymore.
And for a bit of randomness- I miss trick-or-treating. I seriously used to have so much fun. I love how at times we love being the age we are, but at others just want to be kids again.
