Bringing Home the GOLD!
Rosie is now the American Dog Agility Challenge Gold Medalist for '03.
We went up to West Springfield, MA for the American Dog Agility Challenge today. The course was by far the hardest I've ever run, and the competition was pretty tough. There was one lady there with her dog that won the world championship last year and took the bronze this year. Let's just say I didn't think we had a prayer up against handlers and dogs like that.
Once again I, the pessimist, was proved wrong. We went out there and had a great run...and I actually found my way through the tough course with no handler errors.
When they presented Rosie and I with the GOLD , I almost died. We came home with our american flag ribbon, cash prize ($$$$$!), and the GOLD medal!
