YOU MUST SAVE THEM UNTIL YOU HAVE TIME BECAUSE THEY'RE JUST THAT GOOD. *flaily*

I am now reading the first one again. *facepalm*

Shadow of the Templar almost killed me through lack of sleep, because I could NOT stop reading it. I really loved Simon and Jeremy's relationship a lot, mostly because they were both like "I don't care about him at all, not at all, not one bit, la la la", but then as soon as the other was hurt, they were by their side in a flash. Jeremy even took international flights to get to Simon's side. BLESS.

I'm desperate for the next book to come out. I really hope she hasn't given up on it!

Oooh, another fan! \o/ Yes, I was up into the wee hours reading this thing too! It's ridiculously addictive. I completely agree with you re: Simon/Jeremy -- I love how there are all sorts of undercurrents between them that they rarely, if ever, speak about. And even though sometimes I wish the sex were more explicit, I think the story is almost more effective without that because there's already plenty of chemistry between them -- enough for me to picture the sex scenes on my own and very vividly, I might add.

Her site says that the fourth book is supposed to be up in January 2009. I am crossing my fingers that she will finish by then! Does she have an LJ, do you know? I didn't see any sign of one. Or maybe a mailing list? I would love to see progress updates if there are any to be had. I guess I'll email her; I'd like to tell her how much I enjoyed the first three in any case. :-)

Exactly. But it's still so obvious that they care about each other. The relationship is very realistically done in that way.

I also wished for more explicit sex scenes, I don't think it loses anything to not have them there, especially since, as you say, they have such great chemistry. Now you're making me want to read it again, haha!

I don't think she has an LJ, unfortunately. Or a mailing list. I looked everywhere on the site for alternative contact details and couldn't find any. Progress updates would be great - January can't come too soon, imo!

Yes, you should read again! *enables* (I am weak and started rereading them as soon as I got to the end.)

If she responds to me and gives me an ETA, I will let you know. :-)

I definitely don't have time to be reading the whole Shadow of the Templar series again from the beginning, and yet, argh. *casts shady glance at book two open in another window*

The Phillies are sort of an adopted team for me -- they're SO's team -- but I found myself rooting for them pretty enthusiastically! :-)

"Cheesy fun" is a great description -- and the gay international man of mystery is one of the most delicious fictional characters I've ever encountered. He actually reminds me a teeny bit of a certain fanon version of Draco Malfoy, to the point where I consistently picture him as blond even though in the story he is supposed to have brown hair.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy it!

Thank you for reccing the Templar books. Started reading book one last night and fell in love instantly. The author writes excellent banter, I love that in a story.

Hope you're having a nice weekend.
