A few introductory OTP recs
My OTP is Remus/Sirius, so I figured I'd start my reccing career with some of my absolute favorite puppy fics. You'll notice that quite a few of them are AU -- not that I'm in denial or anything! ;-)

My Comments: This fic right here is how things should have turned out for the pups. The premise is that Remus remembered to take his potion in POA, and that Peter was caught and Sirius exonerated. The fic features naked!Sirius, pining!Remus and a gorgeous, satisfying ending.

My Comments: I've read this, oh, a million times? It takes place in the "Lie Low at Lupin's" time period (one of my favorites), and Sirius and Remus are fumbling their way back to each other despite the years and the scars. Angsty and romantic and hot.

My Comments: There are several sequels to this fic (browse the author's Diagon Alley profile for the others, which go in this order: Definitions, Clarity, Observations, Completion), but the first one is my favorite. There's such an exquisite tension between the two of them, and Remus seems so incredibly vulnerable here. Gives me the shivers (in the best possible way).

My Comments: A beautifully paced, almost dreamy non-magical AU in which Remus and Sirius meet on a train. The author's language is elegant and evocative, and the accompanying art is gorgeous.

Summary: The night after the day that Sirius Black fell through the veil, Remus Lupin made a number of promises to himself.
My Comments: These two are the best "Bring Back Black" fics I know. When he goes through the Veil, Sirius gets a chance to see what his life could have been like -- and then to come back to his original world and try again. My summary completely fails to do justice to either fic, so go read!
I have a bunch more where these came from, but I'll save them for another day. :-)
