I had a little mini-rant here about my crappy day at work, but whatever, it's over. We're all here for the fic anyway, yeah? :-)

My Comments:
I love all of flashfly's fics, but somehow this little drabble has always really stuck with me. In her description of Justin drawing, she fashions her own work of art with words -- Justin glows here, and the sensual beauty of the last line makes me melt.
I confess I'm cheating a bit today -- the drabble above was the one I intended to rec today, but then this morning flashfly posted an amazing Emmett drabble for me, so I'm reccing that one too. It's an evocative, bittersweet piece about Emmett leaving home. In a fandom where both gen fic and Emmett fic are quite rare (am I wrong? please feel free to throw some recs my way!), I found this quite refreshing.
