HP Fic
While the Wife's Away by marguerite-26 (Harry/Teddy, Harry/Ginny, NC-17, infidelity)
So a week or two I was writing this big long thing to snegurochka_lee about how I don't really like this pairing (mainly because I like their relationship to be more of a father-son thing), but I enjoyed the hell out of this fic anyway. What makes it work is that the author takes her time with the set-up, establishing Harry and Teddy's platonic relationship (and Harry's happy marriage to Ginny) first before moving in a believable way toward a sexual relationship between Harry and Teddy. It's just good storytelling. :-)
L'ouragan by femmequixotic (Severus/Harry, NC-17)
I fell in love with this fic not only because of the wonderful relationship between Snape and Harry but also because of the way Femme evokes the city of New Orleans. (If the link is still working, do download the music she's included at the bottom of the fic -- it will put you in the proper mood!) I like the way the rebuilding of New Orleans parallels the rebuilding of Snape and Harry's relationship.
Two by miraielle (Minerva McGonagall/Septima Vector, R)
Yes, I know you're probably not interested in this pairing. Neither am I. But I read this fic a week or two ago for the quibbler_report and was blown away by the writing. I would say the fic is less about Minerva or Septima than about Hogwarts itself, which takes on a life of its own here. I love the way the author interweaves the lives of the modern-day teachers with the echoes of the four founders. It's a beautiful fic and just 1,350 words -- I highly recommend that you give it a shot. :-)
Hero Worship by snegurochka_lee (Charlie/Viktor, NC-17)
What to even say about this one? Lee's written a fic that's simultaneously hilarious, hot, and touching. Pairing aside, I found that Charlie's teenage nephews stole the show here, particularly James, the quintessential teenage boy -- as I said in my comment, I couldn't decide whether to ruffle his hair or shake him silly. The fic is a wonderful combination of humor and serious LGBT themes.
Dragon's Blood and Meadowsweet by ldymusyc (Draco/Millicent, NC-17)
I never thought I would read this pairing, let alone love it so much, but gah, this fic grabbed me and wouldn't let go. Millicent is an amazing work of characterization -- strong enough not to put up with Draco's crap, but compassionate enough to realize when he's vulnerable. And the author doesn't shy away from Millicent's canonical size; she is not a small woman by any stretch, and I loved watching Draco slowly grow to appreciate her voluptuous curves. A very satisfying romance.
Finding Viktor Krum by atdelphi (Albus Severus/Viktor, NC-17)
I just wanted to hug this story, which sounds stupid, but hey. It made me feel that good. :-) Albus and Viktor's relationship is so gently, believably developed, and both Scorpius and Harry have wonderful supporting roles. *hugs story some more*

Jule has a deft hand with all of the QaF characters, which you can see from this varied array of drabbles. Just do be prepared for the angst -- each of them broke my heart in a different way.
