so.... it's here. the end of the summer

i'm not sure i'm ready to go back to school.
in a way i am because i'm tired of working all the time.
plus i'll only to svsu 2 days a week for classes, they'll be long days, but it'll be worh it to have the free time.

i'm a dumb ass and didn't take my basic skills test... so i'm adding another semester onto my extremely long college career as it is.

work is going awesome. I won't work at the YMCA too much during the school year, but I'll still be working my respite job.

so today was pretty eventful... i decided to do laundry since i had a huge pile of it in my closet. As my second load was drying i heard a big noise from my basement. i didn't think any thing of it though. When i went down to put in my third load i was in for a suprise. There was water ALL over my floor :( My washer leaked when i first put it in there so i was pissed that it had leaked again. I went down to load up my laundry anyway when i realized something weird. There were tiny little bubbles in the water... which i thought was wierd, plus there was more water than it had ever leaked before. So.... i put my big toe in the water to touch the bubbles ( i don't know why...lol) and what is on my floor is definately not water.... it's sticking to my toe and it's all slimey... all i could think was what the fuck. taking another glance around i notice that my HUGE BRAND NEW bottle of laundry soap is lying on my basement floor ( like the biggest bottles of liquid soap you can buy). It's tipped over and the top busted off it so the laundry soap was all over my basement floor. It was such a mess... so i spent my morning mopping up soap from my basement floor. there was so much of it and i was sliding all over. I had to move the furniture because the soap had spread under it. In a way it was fun sliding around, but it was way too much work that i didn't plan on doing.

so it sucks that i had to clean it up, but what sucks more is that all that soap was wasted (those things are expensive when you have like $5 to your name) blah...not to mention i couldn't do anymore laundry because i didn't have any soap.

so i'll leave you with this advice before i go to work.... if you hear a big noise from your basement... go down and make sure you don't have laundry soap leaking all over your basement.... blah!
