Yes, it was my birthday yesterday. It was awesome. I got some sweet presents. For some reason I am typing as Napoleon Dynamite would speak. Maybe it's because I just watched it with Greg and my sister. Maybe. ::Siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhh::
Sunday, or rather, Easter, was AWESOME!! Greg and I went to his family's house to eat an Easter dinner, and it was fun. His family is great, and it was nice because I didn't walk in and feel all alienated, I actually felt wanted (If that's the right word...) But the REAL fun came later... Greg surprised me with tickets to see Breaking Benjamin at The Rave in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Friday, for Sunday night. He got them cheap, because one of his friends is in a band called Tribal Scar, and they were opening, kind of, for BB... That fell through though when TS's guitar player, Julio, quit the band Saturday. So, even though TS didn't play, we got the tickets for free, so it was awesome. So we drove the two hour drive to Milwaukee, and got there pretty much right on time... We missed the first half of The Exies, saw Theory of a Deadman (Who actually played an awesome show and I'm half thinking of going out and buying their album when it comes out in April), and then went straight into BB. That show kicked so much ass, I floated out of the club. On our way out, we got these booklets, and only happened to glance at them until we got out of the club. We were totally blown away by what that little booklet's contents were: Free tickets to a whole bunch of upcoming shows!! It's awesome, we're thinking about future trips to The Beer Capital of the USA for some sweet shows. So, that rocked.
Yesterday, it was my birthday. Greg and I spent Monday night together in Milwaukee with his band. We had fun. He decorated our hotel room down there with lava lamps, and when I walked in (Because he surprised me... Awww!) the whole room was lit up purple and pink and red. They are the shit. I can't wait to clean my room and set everything up. Aside from the awesome lava lamps, he got me 2, yep, that's right, count 'em, TWO Linkin Park t-shirts (Ones I didn't have, which is awesome, because I have, like, 20 or something...), a Napoleon Dynamite t-shirt that has Tina the Llama on there, and the words, "Tina, you fat lard, Come get some dinner!" on it. I laughed until I cried almost. And then, he got me a Linkin Park window sticker for my car, which I've always wanted one to show off my love for The LP, and THEN, EVEN BETTER, a Bite the Hand Wall Clock. Yes, that's right, I can now tell time using my very own BTH Wall Clock. That just kicks ass. And all those presents were awesome because we got into the room, and after we gazed at all the colors on the walls, he turned on all the lights, and told me that all my presents were hidden around the room and I had to find them. That was SO ROMANTIC AND SWEET!!! I love you, Puddin' Pie!!! So anyway, we drove back yesterday morning, and on the way back we visited Mom at work. Her boss bought lunch for the office and Greg and I, and let me keep the change for my birthday, which was sweet, because he didn't have to do that. Then I went home, sat around and wanked on my guitar a little, and then I went to the tattoo parlor. Now. The best birthday present ever is one you can draw yourself and then get inked permanently on your skin somewhere. So that's what I did. I got me my first tattoo last night. It is AWESOME. My mom and dad and Greg paid for it. Eventually I'm going to have a picture of it on here somewhere. It's on my upper middle back, right above my shoulder blades. It's hot. It's purple and red roses intertwined in a heart shape, with a G-Clef in the middle, 6 lines (Representing the 6 strings on a traditional guitar) going through the middle of the heart horizontally, and a single music note on each side of the strings. It sounds complicated, but when the picture's on here, you all will see. It rocks my face. Then after the tattoo (Which I wouldn't say hurt, but annoyed the hell out of my back to the point where I was just like, "Umm, hello? Umm, hi, yea, that's annoying, you can stop stabbing my back now..." It mostly felt like someone was holding a flame up to my back. It only hurt in some spots...) we came back to the house and family came over for pizza and cake. It was a good night, made some cash, played my song for everyone, and chilled, watching Napoleon Dynamite with my Baby... It was an AWESOME birthday. I wouldn't ask for anything to change.
Baby, you went and made this day into one which I will NEVER forget, as long as I live. I love you more and more each and every day, and I always will, forever and ever. Thank you so much for everything you've done for me, even before this awesome day. I wouldn't ever ask for anyone but you to spend the rest of my life with. I love you for to make EVER!!!
