So, here's a recap of the last few weeks, mainly in annoying picture form
Had my surgery, and then was housebound for 5 days in recovery. Did get some lovely flowers from my colleagues on my return to work though.
My cats were their usual dorky uber cute selves. Chicco has an obession with drinking out of 'human glasses' at the moment.
There was lots of yummy food adventures, including the most decadent mac n cheese ever (nothing better when you're stuck in bed) and of course overbuying of pickled ginger (because, if you're anything like me, if you ever run out then life just isn't nearly as shiny or picklygingery =P)
I got Batman pants and also spent a great deal of time coveting these shoes
They had a HUGE TargaWest car display in the city, this was by far the best thing ever for me to get to see as I stepped off the train in the morning.
I sold my car, my amazing little Telstar Ghia with oscillating aircon vents, power windows and a rear wiper, I will miss you sooooooo much. We got this little baby for $100 not even a year ago, but it was the first car I ever drove that I fell in love with. The most comfortable seats in a bunky, ever!
When I was feeling up to it, we went on a city shopping trip. Sorted out Mal's wedding ring, and I pouted because I was not allowed to buy a pink model helicopter.
To celebrate Sunday Trading coming in in WA, we went to IKEA on the first Sunday they were open to find stuff to put on our gift registry.
MAL DID THE FREAKIN' DISHES! (This warrants photographic proof, I assure you)
And I took a series of self-indulgent and probably drunken selfies, what else is new.
