to the 06 graduates -
i'm thinking about what is appropriate to say to you, all and any of you, and i've come to the conclusion that congratulations is not the right word for the occasion. even though in the dictionary it says "An expression of such joy or acknowledgment", which is exactly what i'd like to give to all of you, the word congratulations to me has a connotation of now you're finished and its the cake walk from here. maybe i am wrong but this is just what i've taken from it. instead of telling you this, i want to say to all of you good luck. this is a new chapter of your lives and you have made it all this far with a hand or two or six to hold but now you're checking it out mostly by your own two hands and for this reason, i wish you all the best of luck in regards to accomplishing your goals, going after your dreams and basically in any of your future endeavors, flying solo or with others.
and that is all i have to say on this matter. today i went to the mall with evan and his mom and sister and aunt and grandma. i'm getting better at being a family attraction. i should get ready, i've got to be up at school in half an hour. have a good weekend everyone
