I know that the Latino group on campus will be having a Dia de Los Muertos celebration, but I've got news of an event that's guaranteed to be so much cooler. By cool, I mean in touch with the community, a community even larger than ourselves and the very small student body to which we so often cling. I mean cool in the sense of contributing to and creating cultural awareness, in the sense of delicious food and enchanting music, and lots of little old ladies and gents telling stories in spanish.
MujerArtes is having a potluck of sorts tomorrow at 7 P.M. Azul, Crystal, and others will be performing calaveras. And, as if there was a lack of incentive, the San Anto Dia de Los Muertos procession should be passing by at some point.
Try getting out of the bubble folks.
