Well, as you lovely fiber-minded people may have figured out by now, I'm not going to be doing a Secret Pal on LJ 3 any time soon, or possibly ever. A combination of a full class load my senior year of college, working, being quite involved in two school programs/clubs and keeping the house relatively cleaner than a tornado's path looks is just not ( Read more... )

Ohhhhh! I'd hate to see it go. I look forward to my package every month. I'd be happy to take over for the time being, so long as the other mods, are willing to step up and do it. This is just too much fun to let die.

I have the kind of time and internet connection at work to head something like this up pretty easily. I'm definitely willing to do it, if those of you who've done it before will bring me up to speed on how the rules have generally worked in the past.

That would be awesome! You can definitely email me with any questions you have--I'm generally pretty quick at answering them, as in same day or next day unless things get really hectic. You can copy SPLJ1 and 2 exactly, or you can change everything completely around, do whatever you want. I'll definitely help advertise in the knitting and spinning comms I'm in, as well as on my personal journal, so just keep us posted here in this comm as to how things are going with that.

Awesome! I just joined up. I'll send you an email later tonight or tomorrow to ask about how things were organized behind the scenes. I can't see changing the rules used this go around, except maybe timing to deal with the holidays. (3 exchanges over four months, with Dec/Jan acting as one month of the exchange to cover all the time/financial bases.)

aww I really was looking forward to my first SP thing ever...I will also co-mod if someone shows me the ropes (I've never even participated before)....I really really want this thing to happen!!
