final package!!
i recieved my third package from my secret pal today! technically, i recieved it yesterday, but i didn't get my mail until later on, and the leasing office wasn't open anymore, so i had to wait until this morning. i was so excited to open it i could hardly wait to get back to the apartment!!
isn't the yarn LOVELY?! i opened the bag and it caught my breath. it's handpainted 100% wool. i LOVE it. i'm at odds with what to make with it. we shall see. :)
the knitted drawstring bag (whose color is actually truer in the first photo)
from last-minute knitted gifts, which is one of my favorite books. it's knit with blue sky alpaca which i've never felt before and is THE SOFTEST YARN EVERRRRR. i REALLY need to make myself a scarf or sweater with this stuff. inside the bag was a bar of Lush Rock Star soap (i tried to take an actual picture but my batteries died). fits my username, see? :)
and the scrapbook kit is SO CUTE!
my secret swap partner turned out to be tazzd98, who has sent the most wonderful things! the kittens rediscovered the toys from your first package yesterday and now have the lime green one "hidden" next to the food bowl. that thing has been through hell, honestly. it's been thrown into the water dish and under the couch, they love it! thanks again, tazzd98!
