Higurashi (When They Cry)
Finished Season 1. A surprisingly happy ending, though the games do reveal a more tragic side to it.
Not really sure what to say. This show is really well-done. They actually managed to make a bunch of moe girls into scary, twisted people. That deserves credit.
Animation is beautiful, character designs are great, plot is wtf but excellent, music rocks

...Even though there are some scenes I really could have done without.
Some of the murders in arcs five and six were just...ugh.
