it's about this guy akenson's theories on the evolution of judaism

sounds pretty interesting. i don't believe i have read his work. do you agree/disagree with it (Assuming you have done the reading)? what is the assignment asking you to do?

well i haven't really done the reading but i know the gist of it and i think it's all a matter of interperetation. there's no true or false on these things. people choose to see them different ways though. it doesn't really matter to me which way the world wants to see it, the different views do have interesting implications though and discredit certain things that people rely on

well it was due pretty much right after i wrote this post. so i wrote it pretty shittily and just turned that in

you can impress your teacher by being like, hmm, Prof, i know i already handed my assignment in, but i feel like there is always room for progress and more aspects in my argument that i would like to explore. can i re-draft?

haha yeah i was considering doing that but i'm pretty sure he'd be a bastard about it. the first paper i did for him i was three minutes late to class and he marked it a day late and took a grade off
