Vacation
Well I am back and it was a great adventure and that started out with late airplanes except on the way home and I missed the one going to Salt Lake. They had a mechanical issue with the airplane at Heathrow. United ended up putting me up in a hotel and I was put on a flight the next day.
When I got home Ivan picked me up and we ended up driving to St George on Saturday and spent a night in a hotel and then drove back home yesterday. I still have jet lag. I was wide awake at 3AM this morning. I hope I am able to function at work today.
Now about London. It is a wonderful old city with very beautiful architecture. I was amazed at how beautiful it was. I saw lots and had lots of fun. Barb and Ben were a great host and hostess. Thank you sooooo much for the wonderful time. It was great to visit and great to have a guide around the city.
Of course we traveled by train and bus and that was fun too. Something we don't do here. I found myself amazed at how the city is laid out and with all the trains and layers of trains. They quite litteraly go everywhere.
I even enjoyed some different food as well. We went to an Indian Restrauant and the food was excellent.
I have over 200 pictures and they filled up my thumb drive.
Ivan said that I seemed really happy when I came back and he was really happy with that. I feel like a new person. Ready to go and conquere all that is put before me. Vacations can really be a great thing.
