ohh..a month?..a quite long period..
wt?? ur dad's hotel?? or..house?
near airport...um..in my memory, there're some shopping mall..but i'm afraid that they're not a good shopping place as Mong Kok or Causeway bay
i dun recommend that u buy jp cds in hong kong, cuz they always increase the price by 30% compare the the original price..u better by them through the internet..anyway if u wanna find some jp cds, poster etc. u can find them in Mong kok(u can ask me the address when u arrive =]) u can go to there by simply bus(i think)~i'm not familiar with the air port area..><
ahh, japan clothes?? haha, actually, there're many types of clothes that you can buy in hong kong, some of them look pretty similar with jp style, so u don't have the find the jp clothes or shoes painstakingly (most of the jp clothes are made in china)
if i were u, i would choose ocean park. cuz I think the HK disney land is too SMALL, btw, if u have never been any disney land, it's worth to try, but if u did...forget about the mini disney - -"
yup~most of the hk ppl know english..XD
ya..i'm studying in an international school..are u chinese?
concert? wt concert u would like to see?~~

Yep, spending most of my summer holidays there =D
My dad's house.. My parents are Hong Kongers but I'm a New Zealander. I went to an International School in HK 7 years ago so I don't remember much about HK (geographically); so I'm basically coming back as a tourist!
So what is considered "central HK? Is Mongkok and Causeway bay no where near the airport? But the public transport is so awesome and has English so I can probably find my way, right?
Oh 30%? That's quite a lot, but I think it's worth owning that CD, I'll get everything else online (any good sites you recommend?). And thanks for the address in advance! :)
Yeah I think i'll go to ocean park.. I've already been to Tokyo Disneyland (twice haha) and I havn't heard good things about the HK one (not enough bathrooms so people piss in public?!)
Anywhoo.. I don't think there are any concerts I want to go to while I'm in HK.. I wanted to see big international acts like Muse or something but they only have Spice girls (date hasn't been confirmed yet) and Maroon 5 (but I would have left by then), so yeaaah.. I miss out :(
Thanks for helping me soo much and for putting up with all my annoying questions! Haha, you're awesome.

ps. whereabouts in HK do u live (u dnt have to answer that if it's too stalkerish), or what international school do u go to?

I am sorry it has taken me so long to reply..>"<..i'm writing on my big big big english essay..about Shakespeare - merchant of Venice...it makes me really wanna die X.X
Summer holidays?? New Zealand have summer holiday in Jan?..Oh..it's winter in HK in Jan
the shopping central of HK is Mongkok or Causeway bay..XD
the businesses central of HK is Central..
nope, the air port doesn't near the "central HK" at all
YES!!..but don't take the Air Port Express..it's expensive..almost HKD$100!!..juz take the Air port Bus..only cost u about $40~60
i usually order them from a local japanese cds store..but they only sell the jpop kind cds..if u wanna buy jrock stuff, u have to order it from them b4 1 week the cd release, of course the price is cheaper than those "30% up" cds..
Good choice..XD..the ocean park has one of the biggest aquarium of South Asia~
I don't think ppl would piss in the public..XD but those mainland china tourists are really disgusting...
i juz wanna go to the Gazette concert..XDD U miss the Linkin Park's !!!
my pleasure =]
I live in South Bay (near the Repulse Bay), i go the Kaingusu Chekiang College International Section =]

Ohhh I completely understand, thinking of all the Shakespeare essays that I had to write makes me wana puke. Hope your essay is going well!
Yeah the seasons are completely opposite between NZ and HK haha, I'm glad cos I love winter XD
Ok so I'm definitely going to Mongkok and Causeway Bay cos I've had many recommendations to go there; I just hope transport will be easy and not too expensive from Tung Chung (I just found out that's where I'll be living). >.>
HOLY SHYLOCKS HK$100?! Ok Air port bus it is.
Ohh you have to preorder? Ok do you have the name of a popular Japanese CD store or are they just all random and can be found at most malls?
Haha awesome, I'm excited about ocean park now!
I want to go to The Gazette concerts too ><
AHHHHH I'm miss Linkin Park too?!?! NO WAY I miss everything. seriously. I looked at the events calendar thing on last.fm and as soon as I land in HK, the calendar is blank, then it comes back to life as soon as I leave!
Ok ima stop complaining about my circumstances in your journal now ^^;
Once again, thanks for everything! And maybe I'll see ya around in HK!

I think i did the same mistake again...sorry>"<..plz don't mad at me..
but...um..i don't like hk's winter..it's not cold enough..well..it seems...HK winter = San Francisco summer to me -.-" HK summer = ..*im in oven* XDDD
Tung Chung..hey..there's a MTR(metro) station!!! u can take MTR to explore this lovely city!! i think hk's mtr system is quite easy and convenient..cuz it's not complicated as other country, like Janpan, France etc, and u dont hv to worry about the traffic jam problem..XDD
u can easily find jpop cds in an ordinary cd store..like HMV, CD warehouse..but, if u wanna buy visual kei/jrock cds, um..u can find some poppular artist eg. Dir en gry, plastic tree, MUCC's cds in those cd stores, for the others, u better preorder in J-friends(a japanese cd store in mong kok, i think they only hv 1 store in hk)otherwise, u can find them in the basement of a mall in mong kok called "shun wal" in cantonese or "xi\n he/" in mandarin, sorry i don't know the english name of it, i will find it out later =]um..these cd stores also sell jpop cds, but more expensive than jfrds
did the gazette live tour 2.5 hold in ur country?
that's ok..i don't mind =]..i'm happy when im chating with u~
ure welcome^___^, haha..hk's juz a small city, maybe we'll met on the street, but i probably don't know "that person" is u..XD

Of course I'm not mad, you've helped me a lot :)
Yeah HK winter is definitely not cold enough. My friend who is there now says she has to wear T-shirts cos its kinda hot!
Yay! So Tung Chung has it's own mtr station? I should have really checked that first haha ^^''
Ok if I preorder at J-friends.. how long does it take until I get the CDs?
Sadly, I don't think ANY Japanese artist will tour in New Zealand haha, so definitely not Gazette :(
Do Japanese artists go tour in HK often? Who was the last one?
This will be my mobile number while I'm in HK, 69255017, and this is me on the right.
