Breakthrough!! YES!!
OMG never a dull moment in the new year for me. I found an awesome fucking place to live on friday night, and it was so perfect and the guy who is renting it is so nice I gave him money that night to reserve the spot. And today he brought me the keys!! They are in my pocket right now. I might sleep with them tonight, haha.
So its a 2 bedroom apartment on SE 28th and Gladstone, my old stomping grounds. The building was built last year so its friggin sweet, energy efficient, hardwood floors, granite countertops, the appliances are super nice, and there is a washer and dryer in the unit.
I can walk to work from there! I am doing that now in my old place and I really enjoy the excercise and wake-up time it provides. Love it.
He is asking $400 a month flat. No utilities or anything, which will be really easy to budget. The guy is really nice, he is in his 40's and he is a lawyer, he has 2 kids who stay overnight on fridays. He plays guitar and does a lot of open mic things around town. We get along really well.
I can sleep at night again!! Sweet jesus I was seriously stressed out there for a while. Now there is a light at the end of the tunnel, and this nightmare life will draw to a close, rapidly. Now I just have to pack up all my shit and get it out of here!!
