making the best of it
Goddam my legs are sore today! We have been playing in the winter wonderland every night, sledding, snowball fighting, snow angels, everything fun like we are kids again. Its pretty amazing, but *hard work* to wade through all this. Its up to my knees in places! We are lucky enough to have several friends who live closeby in the neighborhood, so we meet in the park and get wild. Its awesome!
Yesterday Josh and I made the trek to the liquor store, and stopped at the Fred Meyer to get something resembling gifts. I also got a humongous pot roast for x-mas dinner, I am very excited.
But in the back of my mind is the running tally of how many hours of work we are missing! January is gonna be one of the brokest, dollar store shoppin-est, saddest months I've had in a long time. But whatever, this is the friggin snow storm of the century!!!
