This situation is weird for me, and I have gone the whole day without even thinking of it but now I will take a moment.

My grandmother passed away yesterday. Vivian Alice Ogle, grandma Alice, mother of eight, grandmother of ten, great-grandmother of four.

Rest In Peace

But I didn't know her very well, to be honest. The last time I saw her was probably ten years ago or more, and she was having severe mood swings from the blood pressure medications she was taking. Lately she has had dementia that was worsened by a few falls and a concussion. Also a condition called Lewy Body Dementia, which was originally diagnosed as Alzheimer's and prescribed medication for that, but it turns out that the body dementia is worsened by most medications for alzheimer's and they didn't figure that out until very recently.

It's sad. The huge family reunion (which I totally missed) was in late august, and directly after that my grandparents moved into the assisted care home, and directly after that grandma fell down again and moved into the hospice care building, and now here it is.

It was pretty much a bad deal all around so I am glad that its all over now, and her essence can move on to wherever it may find peace.
