Dear Mr. Davidson and Mr. Mariner:
I can not take those two huge science tests tomorrow. There has been a loss in the family. Bert, one of my African Dwarf Frogs, has died. It is rather tragic, indeed. I feel I need to have a day to grieve. This death was also a lesson in science for me, especially biology, and I think extra credit should be in order for this sad loss.
