(no subject)
My doggy just licked my strawberry shortcake!! If I didn't prise the plate out of her tongue's reach, she probably would have ate it up. This is getting very unbecoming.. but super cute nonetheless!! I love my darling doggy so much. Looking at her on most days has the effect of making my heart feel like it could burst with joy :')
Anyway I'm positively elated now because F21 just called me up saying the skirt that I want's actually in stock!! :) I was literally gushing with delight and surprise over the phone. Yay!! Looks like 2009's not gonna end off that badly after all.. kinda makes up for the mishap (worstest nightmare ever) two nights ago.. But thankfully its an error thats fix-able... albeit at a hefty cost :( Lesson learnt: never place valuable stuff on the bed lest you kick if off when you're too caught up in the moment laughing and slapping someone on the forearm.
I sidetrack. Onto the main purpose of this entry... here's a bunch of my favouritest pictures that I've collected over the past few months to usher in the hopefully, beautiful days of 2010 :)
And to end off this entry, here's two paragraphs that aptly sums up my thoughts about this year,
I’ve learnt a lot this year.. I learnt that things don’t always turn out the way you planned, or the way you think they should. And I’ve learnt that there are things that go wrong that don’t always get fixed or get put back together the way they were before. I’ve learnt that some broken things stay broken, and I’ve learnt that you can get through bad times and keep looking for better ones, as long as you have people who love you.
I may still not know what I want to be when I grow up, but I do know that someday, I want to live in a house filled with my books and travel souvenirs. And the walls that aren’t covered in bookshelves will be covered with photos of my family and friends. When I leave the house I will be going to a job I love, and I’ll return to a person I love. So, that’s the dream I’m working on.
