I thought it was neat!

On a completely unrelated note our neighbor apparently just died. I saw his female roommate get questioned by the cops in the hallway and his body get carried into the elevator in an orange body bag just a few minutes ago. I don't know what you could possibly be expected to say in response to this but it freaked me out and it seemed like I should say something about it.

(((Hugs))) You are right, I don't really know what to say to this. I'm sorry you had to see that. Things like that are shocking, disturbing and depressing even if you were not close to the person. I hope you are dealing with it okay.

Well, I'm certainly going to think twice before ever banging on the wall when there's neighbor noise again, I can tell you that! :P My b/f even wrote a story one time with a character being killed by a monster in their apartment while one of their unwitting neighbors banged on their walls. While there were no monsters involved (that I know of) and there was more of a time discrepancy in this case, the similarity still struck me as somewhat eerie ( ... )

I read all of your emails, and want you to know I related, a lot more than you probably thought I would. You're right I don't have any magic words, if I did, I'd have used them myself and then shared them with as many people as I could.

Just sharing your experiences though, IS magical in that it makes people feel less alone.
