no more summer school!
yay!
i had my final in sociology today and an oral presentation for my methodology research paper. i didn't get to do my power point or a full presentation due to the limited amount of time. what a shame cuz i had a purdy lookin power point, and even even did an outline of what i wanted to talk about. he just made us stood up next to our desk and give a brief summary of what we wrote about.
i think i'll always be nervous speaking in front of a class.
i didn't make an A in this class, even though i knew i was capable of it. i slacked a bit, so i deserved the B. doesn't matter tho, cuz it's a transfer credit, so no one will see the alphabetical grade neways.
i still enjoyed that class. i learned tons of things, and it sparked my curiousity to do more research on other interesting topics. i've been interested in looking up some information in regards to corporate welfare. how nerdy do i sound! hehehe
work at UNT has been goood. it has its busy days, but majority of the time i have a lot of free time to study or read. this will help me when i school this fall. and being able to pay bills is good as well.
i have been doing a tremendous amount of walking the past week! i need to starting carrying some cross trainers with me cuz, my feet is gonna look rough from all that walking. i bought a general parking sticker not realizing the parking area was in BFE! i wanted to upgrade to a premium, which was an extra $40, but it would have taken the bookstore about a month to look up my file. lame so i'm just gonna have to suck it up and endure the walk for the year. i need the exercise neways. i'll be sporting some hot looking gams by the end of the school year! from my car to the my work building is a good 10 min walk, if i keep a constant pace. it is hell walking that long in this texas heat! i'd walk up to the office drenching in sweat. it's a bit disgusting. to resolve this, i bring an xtra shirt, and give myself enough time to go the restroom and sop myself up.
i need to register for school next week, and call the art department about the entry portfolio for spring. i'm gonna be busy busy busy!
