Searching for a Heart of Gold
OOOk I like to play my guitar outside, preferably on a chair. I came up with some ideas for a song. When I went to write it down in my notebook the word "Gerontology" was there. I decided to name it that. But I don't know what the word exactly means just yet...
Gerontology is the study of the aging processes and individuals as they grow from middle age through later life. It includes:
1. the study of physical, mental, and social changes in older people as they age
2. the investigation of the changes in society resulting from our aging population
3. the application of this knowledge to policies and programs. As a result of the multidisciplinary focus of gerontology, professionals from diverse fields call themselves "gerontologists"
I was kidding myself trying to get accepted into Crane. But no regrets because I met cool people and there's no other way around. I need to make a decision this fall. But anywho I want to play open mic at the 2 Alices again. I remember I had the best times there during the summer. I'll post later with more details.
