Is the nexus itself subject to Armageddon? I would have thought that such a thing would be world or universe specific.
Though I suppose a dirty great flaming sword has as much right to wandering the multiverse as anything else. If it asks about relationship advice, I and the wine cellar may need to come visiting.
Well, the Nexus has already shown itself susceptible to influence coming from powerful individuals. But I have seen no indications of the world's end in my own afterlife. If the Nexus becomes uninhabitable, and my temple in Theoi fails, you and your wife are (as always) welcome in the Moon.
This being the multiverse, I expect it can find many other lonely flaming swords with similar interests. Perhaps it could advertise?

I would imagine that if a self-motile flaming sword could find more of its kind, it would do without much difficulty. ...Now there is what doesn't look very much like a lion.
I may advise the staff to draw the curtains entirely.
