loooooovely

Live has been pretty darn fabulous lately. Tony's brother and his g/f just had their baby today (she found out she was preggers about 6 weeks before I did), so that's pretty exciting. Work has been great, my schedule has been awesome because there are so many seasonals working who pick up all the weekend hours. My job also is starting a nationwide professional artistry team next year to do makeup for events, fashion shows etc. and I just found out today that I was one of two people from my store recommended for try-outs. I don't know the dates yet but I'm getting sent to audition for that in Ft. Lauderdale sometime, I'm so nervous and excited. Wish me luck! The commercial I did makeup and hair for last week went flawlessly, I got a call-back today that they were so happy with me that they are sending my contact info to their other affiliate networks in other cities, so hopefully more freelance work will come out of that.
My health is good, I was starting to feel sick again a few days ago but I'm fine now. Hopefully things will stay that way. I think the trick is to make sure I get enough sleep. The baby is in the right position now, he was breached at my last appointment so that is good. I've only got like 6-8 weeks left, crazyness. I've had some minor uncomfortable stuff happening, but all-in-all pregnancy has not been even close to as horribly difficult as I had always imagined it would be. I finally am starting to experience what they call "preg-tarded" though. 2 days ago at work I couldn't find my car when it was time to go home, i literally walked around for like 20 minutes and couldn't remember where it was. I lose my keys and my cell-phone constantly. The worst thing is that I lost my makeup portfolio somewhere, I was freaking out big-time about that. But good news, I tracked it down. Apparently I left it at the Volkswagen dealership when I was getting an oil-change, and they had it in the lost and found. I am soooooo lucky that they found it.
Speaking of things turning up missing, did I mention that the termite people ganked a bunch of our stuff? They took all of our alcohol, and did the same to one of our neighbors!! Tony actually talked to someone about it and their excuse was they had to "dispose of it for legal reasons" because it wasn't double bagged. However they left us plenty of food products that weren't double bagged, it also said nothing on their pre-caution sheet about double-bagging anything. Tony's switchblade is gone and a bunch of our tools too. Ughhh.
