Awww Box Day
So christmas was good. Joe got me a bath rob(fuzzy and green) house shoes, scarf, hat, and gloves and A HUGE BOX OF REESE CUPS.
there are 72 of the 2 count reese cups in this box.
that 144 reese cups
holy CRAP!
I also got a ton of clothes, some drawing stuff from my brother and heather, and books and such.
We watched the Brave Little Toaster(joe's favorite child hood movie) and so many adults were like "What is that?!" or "why are you watching a kids movie?"

oh and joe, his cousins kyle and andrea and I played "roll the spool of ribbon and try to hit 2 batteries" for two hours...
we are sad...
today at work sucked.
I did not get to do MY job at all today because my friend Merri was the only one trying to do the christmas aisle, putting everything that was not 50% off in the back and marking everything else down and moving it all to one side of the aisle. The manager trainee, Kevin, decided that it was not his job to do any of it even though Lauren left him a note telling him to help with it. He also refuses to do certain manager duties like print off the paper work and do the lottery audit.....because he thinks that I should do it since I do it when there is NO manager around on Tuesdays and Fridays...but I refused to do the lottery audit because I already stated to the assistant manager that Kevin is the manager trainee and he needs to learn how to do it. I will help him if he does not know how to, but i will not do it for him......but apparently no one talked to him....and apparently according to him "no one works around here"
ummm...all he does is straighten.....and sing really loud and scare customers because he has some form of mental illness...which i know he can't help, i don't care if he sings but if he can not do confrontation or won't TOUCH the money if something is short or over and try to fix it...then he should not be trained to be a manager. Apparently he was shipped to our store because at the other store he was at the employees and customers were "not being nice to him"

that should set a red flag right there, because obviously he has made no effort to change.
What's going to happen when he gets his own store??????
So merri and I ran out the door at 4pm today because we worked on Christmas for 7 hours and it was pretty much done so we left.
OY
and to top it all off i had a headache the entire time
and i now need to study for my Algebra Exam that I have to take on Monday.....
