Okay so first off - Yay I'm on a five month long break from Uni.... and No!!!! I'm bored stupid!!!!!!!! Of course I have work which just makes it all worse.... and no money left after my trip down London... getting paid soon mind. I've been in negotiations with a web site for this item I want (no I'm not stating what it is yet.... XDDD) and I just need money and a bit more discussion before I can start making payments for it. Of course the decision of what I want s some what still shady as there is soooooooooo much tempting stuff that chosing just one type of each bit is difficult. Then again I should be able to buy more gradually. If it all gets sorted and all arrives perfect etc. then I'll share some more, maybe even photos if I'm feeling generous. Xd. Lol.
I've build both my Gundam Wing Model kits already... though I'm taking it easy on the detailing. Nataku Gundam is about 90% complete for detailing while the others are still in basic levels. This is because, while I am bored, I also lack the motivation to actually do much. The new racing game I decided to splurge out on and buy on a spur of the moment impulse turned out to be crap. And it looked so promising!!!!! It had American Muscle Cars, and tune ups and Drifting!!!!!!!!! But the car controls are so shot! Seriously. I love racing games, but this one is just too crapply controlled. The only sort of drifting it really allows are the e-braking drift, which are only decent on the tighter corners, and the normal foot brakes are crap! They either don't do a thing or bring you to a side-ways stand still. The car steering is defeated too. You either understeer badly, or over steer completely into a bloody 720 degress spin - yes 720!! It never spins just once. And that is from tapping the direction slightly. And I don't think I can return it just because its crap. I'll try but I may have to settle for a trade-in payment instead. Great. Just to make up for that serious disappointment I spent three hours chasing tails and making marks on the streets in Need For Speed Carbon. Now thats a game that got drifting down well. You can control the drifts with just the accellerator, or with the slight aid from the foot peddle and e-brake if you wish. I really just like the inertia drifting style. Its fun!!! And so fluid. Plus when done correctly it doesn't ever detract from your driving and race times. Its great when the cops are on your tail and you want to set off a stylist slide pasta blockade. Those Heavy Duty police crusers are nasty to get past usually, but yesterday I surprised my self by drifting straight around them and into one if the secret side routes. XD. It was beautiful. Wish I had gotten it on camera as that had been pure reaction and fluke. I had meant to slip past them and keep going but for some reason my hands descided to drift not grip. XDDD and it wasn't skidding uncontrollably - I was actually deliberateyl letting the back end swing around as I eased of the gas and turned in.... I love drifiting.
I have been meaning to make a new layout for my journal page but still not really motivated to do anything at all - despite boredom. This sucks - I have the idea in my head and partially transfered into scripting.... but nothing really further than that. I've been drawing on and off for the past two weeks. What started as two rough sketches of Jin and Kazuya from KAT-TUN while in Lonodn have now developed into two full pictures (line art any way) and have the four others pretty much finished as well. Plus there's a new one of Zachary, half finished one of Elliot, and two completely random and new people. XD But no motivation to do much more really. Bah!
