So I finished that thing for Ship Wars and have suppressed the urge to write 4000 words of a stream-of-conciousness-freudian-nightmare-mind-fuck-Evangelion-tribute by tomorrow and send it in to the chulu mods to see what people would make of it.

Watch Neon Genesis Evangelion and The End of Evangelion.

It will break your mind and leave it sobbing in the corner.

A word of warning tho - very, very not safe for kids.

This is my typical lunch these days. Sometimes I have an avocado instead of a salad.
My to watch list is... I don't even wanna think about it. I will certainly take that into consideration. Utena did that to me. I was not old enough to watch that at the time and I still don't think I'm old enough to watch it.

Hmmm, I think I've heard of Utena but can't think why. I have no idea how that compares to Evangelion or I would be able to be more helpful.

I will say that I was spoiled for a lot of the Evanngelion plot points and while I watched it I still sat there like this:

Edit: I had a quick look of TV tropes and the first line of the Revolutionary Girl Utena article says:

"Class, meet the Neon Genesis Evangelion of the Shojo genre."

heh...

Now I really want to watch Utena.
