Random question, ... what has been your experiences with RAW files?

I love them. They work very well, but they are not the easiest to use and take alot longer to work with because a program with RAW editing capibilities is needed and often pictures cannot be viewed before opening them. Theres pros and cons to using them. I dont use them for all my shooting.

I would've started using them, but I haven't seen any real benefits, JPG seems to just be a whole lot easier, and less time consuming.
