Happy *almost* New Year!
MAN has this past week been long! After being without power for 3 days - YES....3 days - we are finally back to normal, again. It is hard to do anything for Christmas past 3:30, since it gets dark here by then. We BBQ'd our dinner for Christmas - not the traditional homemade Raviolli's. I was quite disappointed with that fact, but of course, all of the family understood. It got to the point that we had to move our Freezer and Fridge food to OUTSIDE. No joke. Milk was on the back porch, covered in snow. It stayed cold, indeed.
My mom is within walking distance, as is my brother - so we had a nice Christmas just he 4 of us. It was lovely. I am officially an adult - I was OVERLY excited about my carpet shampooer that I got as a gift from my mom. I mean - how freaking practical! I can at least make our new house look even better!!!!
Anyways, I am off to shower and get ready for a New Year's Party. I told Troy I wouldn't kiss him until midnight -at all today. He called me a liar- so far, so good! =)
